Riley G Designworks is a small business inspired by the lack of style and color available to photographers. The owner, Aaron Willcox is a wedding photographer based out of San Diego who decided to finally do something about it. After lots of searching, he couldn't find a camera strap on the market that was both comfortable and great looking, so that got the gears turning. Once he began the process of finding resources, he made it a priority to support small, local business whenever possible. And so, with the beginning of 2009, the adventure began. Many of their first camera straps were sewn up his garage on a rented sewing machine using vintage car seats pulled from the garbage piles of auto re-upholsters. His inspiration continues from all things that are classic and vintage; always striving to incorporate recycled and used materials. Be sure to check out the blog for details on how it all went down.
