Michael Cerizo

Michael Cerizo has been doing photography since he picked up his father’s camera at the age of nine. He has wanted to be a photographer pretty much his entire life. Then in 1989, he began his journey as a professional photographer. Michael has had a successful studio in Storm Lake, IA for many years. He now resides in Omaha, NE.

Michael received his Masters of Photography Degree in 1998 and his Craftsman’s Degree in 1999 both given out by the Professional Photographers of America. He also received his Iowa Fellowship from the Professional Photographers of Iowa. Michael has been active in educating professionals as well as college level photographers. He taught as an instructor for 3 years at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, IA. He has also been active in the professional world by speaking at numerous state conventions throughout the US. Michael also does workshops throughout the country concentrating on his approach to children’s photography.
