JuliAnne Jonker

JuliAnne Jonker has owned and operated Jonker Portrait Gallery with her husband Kurtis, in Apple Valley, Minnesota since 1996. JuliAnne has been drawing, painting and sculpting since she was a child and entered the photography industry through photographic art as a teenager in the 70’s. Her photography studio began in 1996. By 1999, they were in need of more space and built a 2500 sq. ft. addition onto their existing home. Jonker Portrait Gallery is a low volume studio, creating art pieces for 50 – 60 clients per year. They specialize in children, seniors, families, maternity, figure study, painting and sculpture. The emphasis is on the highest quality portraits and art . New clients are brought in by existing customers, so personalized customer service must go hand in hand with high quality images. As said by JuliAnne herself “The best clients are those who have seen your work somewhere and have already fallen in love with it before they even meet you”.
