Elena Wilken is a graphic designer by trade and education, and a photographer at heart. As an associate graphic designer, several of Elena's design projects have won contests or received awards, but EW Couture Collection was the perfect way for Elena to marry her two talents and passions. The creative mind behind EW Couture Collection, she gives a lot of credit for her success to her husband's support and encouragement. "It is quite amazing what that can do and how far that can take you!" "I am very passionate about what I do and while it is more than a job for me, it is not my life. I enjoy cooking for my husband and my family. It is a funny thing - it makes me feel alive :) I love the bounty of flavors in Italian food. I am continually fascinated with the ways my 3 and a half year old feisty little lady and 5 months old mellow little guy experience and discover life every day. I love reading a good book, especially a good mystery novel. My favorite movie is La Vita e Bella (Life is Beautiful.) Making others smile makes me content. I'd like to visit Ireland, and although Portland, Oregon is now our home, one day we will live in Europe."
